Black(ie) Magic

Had enough time this week to draw this Halloween-themed portrait of our resident pin-up queen Philomena “Blackie” Flask.. now complete with rediscovered tail.. entitled “Black(ie) Magic”.  Ink and colored pencils on archival bristol board.. and for once the scan turned out fairly nice.  The real thing still looks nicer, tho..

starting bid : $30

Holly & Prof. Mallard: Killjoy

Just had time to create one drawing for auction this week.. a Halloween-themed entry entitled “Killjoy”.. Ink and colored pencils on archival bristol board.  Again, the scanner has an incredible way of un-blending the colors.  In real life, it looks much nicer.

Starting bid: $30

Flask & Marx: Kiss

Another fan request.  No rest for the wicked, indeed.  Ink and colored pencils on archival bristol board.  That dark bar at the top is a shadow because the drawing does not fit fully on my scanner bed and is *not* a part of the drawing itself

Starting bid: $30

Flask: Bridge

Flask choosing her path..  Believe me, these colors look much better blended in real life.  Ink and colored pencils on archival bristol board.

Starting bid: $30

Flask & Mallard: Blind Date

A request from reader “Veteran”..  A “Blind Date” is the least unsavory explanation I could imagine for this.. unusual pairing..  But this image does finally put to rest one burning question:  what does Flask look like in a slinky dress?  Now you know!  Ink and colored pencils on archival bristol board.

starting bid: $30
